Co-founder

I was born on August 16, 1972, in a small town in Tuscany. Since I was a child, thanks to my father, I have breathed in the passion and dedication for work. I have always wanted to do the same job as him, and so it was. To this day, my resume shows only one profession: over 50 years in Diamond Tools, and I have not grown tired of it. I consider myself fortunate to still be able to do what I have always wanted to do.

I love doing many things in life, but the innate passion—the true one that makes me wake up at night to think and take notes—I have only for my work.

For some years now, I have been teaching my entire staff to try to do without me. I have learned to delegate a great deal, and I must admit I should have done it sooner. Today, I am surrounded by collaborators who do things exactly as I want them, even better than I do, and I enjoy that very much.

I have many goals for the future. I am an extremely pragmatic person and I rarely give up. When difficult challenges arise, I always say, “we’ll get there”; with patience and teamwork, we “get there.”

I do not look back, but I treasure my mistakes: they have become experience. It is one of the most important legacies I want to leave to my son and to my company. Looking ahead, I would like a world with less exploitation and a better quality of life: perhaps one day… “we’ll get there.”
